Utah is a surprisingly great state for microbrew enthusiasts. Visit Utah brewpubs to sample a selection of locally produced creative and inventive styles of beer.

Some people would believe that Utah and beer don’t necessarily mix due in part to the dominance of the Mormon Church in the state and the infamous liquor laws fancied by the Conservative Utah legislature. Ironically Utah has many Microbrewery options throughout the state. When traveling through the state of Utah – visit the following local brewpubs to sample a selection of original and creative styles of beer.

The Wasatch Brew Pub in Park City is home of the notorious Polygamy Porter, a smooth, medium-bodied, dark ale that lives up to its slogan: “Why have just one?” The Wasatch Brew Pub is a must-visit on any trip to Park City. Visit the pub on the top of Main Street for lunch, dinner, or a lesson in Utah beer production history. The brewery became Park City's first brewery since Prohibition in 1986 and also serves up the politically infuriating 1st Amendment Lager, and Evolution Amber Ale.
