Utah's ski resort hub, Park City, offers visitors a wide variety of delicious restaurant options.
Park City’s Main Street is the center of the action in this ski town. Check out the wide variety of fine dining options while strolling along gently sloped streets evocative of an old silver mining town. There are some budget-friendly restaurants as well, and you’ll also find some great eateries in the adjacent Prospector Square neighborhood. ZoomRobert Redford founded this restaurant in 1995, transforming an old rail depot into an instant Park City classic. Popular for romantic outings and family occasions, this restaurant is rather expensive, but visitors to Park City, Utah will not be disappointed. Reservations are a must during the ski season, and in the summer outdoor seating is best. Seafood with a hint of Asian flair is the specialty here, from lump crab cakes to pan-seared ahi tuna with a ginger-plum sauce. They also feature live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Tucked into a strip mall in Prospector Square, this unassuming order-at-the-counter eatery has a salsa bar complete with at least twelve different salsas. Locals will tell you the creamy chipotle salsa is the best. Here you’ll find authentically delicious Mexican favorites such as enchiladas and chiles rellenos. One side is fine dining, the other is casual sushi. Famous for the lump crab cakes, the seafood here swam in the ocean less than twenty-four hours before reaching your plate. For non-sushi lovers, try the Kobe beef burger or one of the hand-cut steaks. Many consider this the best restaurant in Utah. You’ll need reservations at the fine dining restaurants during any peak time (the end of December, Sundance Film Festival, President’s Week, and all of March).
